Deriving our name from the fusion of our founders’ names, Jacci and Ockert, Jacket Curated is the confluence of an international interior design practice with a supplier of designer furniture, lighting and art.

Jacci Samios and Ockert Dixon’s enduring design romance began whilst working at a large interior design firm in South Africa.  As ideas flowed, a unique style evolved and a fresh approach to creative consultancy and product sourcing was conceived, and in 2006 ‘Jacket’ was born.

Now based in Australia and Switzerland respectively, Jacci and Ockert continue to collaborate on interior projects, producing understated luxury for leading hotels and residences from Sydney to the Seychelles, Europe, the Middle East and South Africa.

Possessing a love of South African Art and Design developed early in their careers, the pair have for several years keenly sourced original, handcrafted design, art and décor that enhance and set our studio’s work apart.

It was with this in mind, as our studio’s reach expanded, that it became clear there was a secondary curatorial opportunity for the Jacket team that would unearth and bring-to-light exceptional pieces for new audiences in Jacci and Ockert’s newly adopted homelands.

Hand-in-hand with the interior design studio work, The Jacket Curated collection assembles some of Jacci and Ockert’s favourite makers and their artisanal products - each with a strong sustainable and ethical ethos.
