Jacket Curated are proud to have steered the entire refurbishment and redesign of this iconic South African hotel property.

Our creative challenge was to give its previously English-centric interior a brand new aesthetic and identity - investing the hotel with a greater sense of its own place in the world.

It was also central to our design that this landmark property should speak of its location in Johannesburg and its historical significance to South Africa’s Gold Rush era.
